  • Equity Strategies

Our equity-focused strategies employ a team managed approach, investing in companies that are industry leaders, display consistent earnings growth, have manageable debt levels, generate high free cash flow, and are led by experienced, shareholder conscious management teams. We believe in thoroughly understanding the companies that we own, and why we own them. We believe that diversification beyond a limited number of holdings may yield only a marginal performance benefit, and that the task of analyzing, understanding, and tracking the performance of 40 stocks is far more feasible than a portfolio of 300 stocks.

  • All Cap Opportunity

    Strategy

Our investment premise is that market inefficiencies exist between fixed income and equity valuation techniques. We seek to uncover these inefficiencies, and identify equity investment opportunities in order to pursue long term capital appreciation.

    Approach

We employ a combination of formal quantitative screening followed by bottom up fundamental analysis, unconstrained by market cap and style, that results in a high conviction, go anywhere strategy.

    Benefit

The strategy is opportunistic and unconstrained, providing management flexibility to focus on securities and industries that are often under researched and believed poised to experience earnings growth.

  • Dividend Growth

    Strategy

This strategy invests in a portfolio of 40-45 securities. Investments are predicated on a company’s ability to exhibit financial strength, growth prospects, and a management commitment to annual dividend increases. We may also invest in equity securities of foreign issuers through ADR’s and similar investments.

    Approach

We employ a bottom-up approach to identify companies with improving fundamentals, emphasizing growth of dividends, positive cash flow, and strong returns on equity and assets. We screen on all listed firms and major over the counter companies with a market cap over $1 billion.

    Benefit

Successful dividend growth strategies hold attractive characteristics for moderately risk investors, including the potential to provide a margin of safety in down markets. Consistent, annual dividend increases allow investors to pursue long terms goal such as retirement.
